Natural vs Synthetic

A natural gemstone and a synthetic one can look identical to the untrained eye, yet they could not be more different in what they represent.

A natural sapphire and a synthetic one can look identical to the untrained eye, yet they could not be more different in what they represent. One formed over millions of years beneath the earth; the other was grown in a laboratory in a matter of weeks.

The distinction is not simply about beauty - it is about scarcity, and therefore value. A synthetic stone, however well made, will never carry the geological history or the rarity of a natural gemstone, and its price reflects that difference many times over.

We present only natural gemstones, each accompanied by independent laboratory testing that confirms it as such. If you are ever uncertain, ask - a reputable house will always be able to show you the evidence.

Every remarkable gemstone carries a story. We would be honoured to help you discover the one that becomes part of yours.
