Notes from an Exhibition

There is a particular moment at every exhibition when a visitor stops mid-stride, having caught sight of a single stone across the room.

There is a particular moment at every exhibition when a visitor stops mid-stride, having caught sight of a single stone across the room.

They rarely ask the price first. More often, the first question is about origin - where the stone was found, how old it might be, what makes it different from the dozen other sapphires they have already seen that day. It is a reminder that knowledge, more than price, is what draws serious collectors in.

We leave every exhibition with new conversations, a handful of new relationships, and - almost always - a renewed sense that this is a trade built on trust between people, not simply transactions between a buyer and a case of stones.

Every remarkable gemstone carries a story. We would be honoured to help you discover the one that becomes part of yours.
